An experienced property and construction marketing professional has joined the ranks at Miller Homes to support the developer’s ambitious growth project.

Laura Worley, 38, has been appointed marketing manager of the national housebuilder’s Southern region, based in Basingstoke, to lead the marketing and communications for the housing firm as it embarks on a journey towards doubling its output of developments across the south of England.

With over a decade of industry experience behind her, Laura joins Miller Homes after almost three years working with McCarthy Stone, with previous roles at both Churchill Retirement Living and Shanly Homes also on her impressive CV.

Laura, who currently lives in Church Crookham, said: “I’m hugely ambitious as a person and in my own career goals, so after hearing the plans for growth within the Southern region of Miller Homes, as part of the company’s wider development, I knew this was the right step for me to take next on my career journey.

“I aim to utilise my key skills as a multi-channel marketer, coupled with industry-relevant experience, to support the wider team at Miller Homes Southern to deliver on their plans to grow quickly, yet sustainably, throughout 2024 and beyond.

“The region is looking to double its portfolio of developments, with a steady supply of new land purchases and planning consents leading to the delivery of new housing across Hampshire, Sussex and Oxfordshire over the coming years.

“I’m thrilled to have joined the team, who have helped me settle in immediately in my new role. I’m now really excited and motivated to help the company push forward this year as we embark on this journey of growth together.”

Miller Homes Southern is currently building new homes in Chichester, Eastergate, Oakley, Boorley Green, Didcot and Longwick. The developer has also recently broken ground at a new site in Bordon, on which it will deliver 147 homes.

Katrina Crawford, sales and marketing director of Miller Homes Southern, said: “We are really pleased to have secured the services of someone as experienced and ambitious as Laura, who matches our ethos at Miller Homes perfectly.

“I wish Laura all the very best as she starts on her journey with the Southern region, as we look to grow and continue delivering high quality new housing across our patch. I’m sure she will have a lasting impact on our team and I’m excited to work more closely with Laura moving forward.”
